Julie has over 20 years hands-on corporate experience in marketing and communications and holds a Degree in Business Management with an emphasis Marketing.   Her experience includes working in a variety of industries addressing both a business-to-business or business-to-consumer message.  Her specific strengths include web design and management, graphic design, social media strategy and management, branding, mobile marketing, SMS or text messaging, project management, writing and general communications.  Her unique talent includes understanding the self-publishing process and coaching authors through their project, or supporting them in the marketing and promotion of their finished work.

She is an entertaining speaker, educating audiences in new technology formats and encourages group interaction to develop online networking skills.  She holds workshops, conducts Marketing Mastermind Groups and addresses community and corporate groups on marketing and communications strategies.   Her work has been highlighted in both online articles and in publications like the Woman’s Business Journal and through both local and national clients. She is the youngest of four children raised in a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri.  Her husband, Deron, also supports her team as a Graphic Artist.  They currently reside in St. Charles, Missouri with their two teen daughters – Taylor and Madison – and three cats.

Marketing is an ongoing process of communications with your customer.  Having a plan is more than just waking up today and jumping on your “to do” list.  It’s about designing an map on how you’re going to communicate with your customers and giving you the necessary planning time to manage it effectively.  Today, the ever-changing technology in web design and social/mobile  applications alone can be overwhelming for most business owners.  I pride myself in staying current on the media trends.  I participate in several forums with marketing professionals from the east and west coasts and understand what’s hot, what’s not and what’s in development.  I understand communications and how they apply to online.  I also understand how to monitor your activity, measure your results, and know when to change things up – either the message or how/where you’re spreading it.  When I meet with clients, I devise a customized program that provides effective, consistent communication that makes sense for your business and budget.  That budget can include my team managing it for you, or me coaching the business owner on how to effectively manage activities in-house.  In either case, you’ll  see measurable results in your marketing efforts.”
